🪙 AiLouvre Token Refund Policy

1. General Policy – Tokens Are Final Sale

AiLouvre operates on a token-based system where tokens are purchased to access and utilize the platform's services, including the Personalized Augmented Collaborators (PACs) and content generation tools.

Tokens represent a license to access computational resources and are NOT a currency, property, or stored value instrument.

ALL TOKEN PURCHASES ARE CONSIDERED FINAL AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

By completing a token purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you are waiving any right to a refund, chargeback, or exchange, except as expressly provided in this policy or required by applicable law.

2. Statutory Refund Rights (Canadian Law)

As a business operating in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, AiLouvre adheres to the Competition Act (Canada) and the Consumer Protection Act (Ontario).

  • Defective Service: If the Service fails to deliver the purchased tokens, or if tokens are deducted due to a verifiable technical failure on the part of the AiLouvre system, AiLouvre will, at its sole discretion, restore the deducted tokens to your account. This remedy (restoration of tokens) is the exclusive remedy for technical failure.
  • Withdrawal/Cancellation: Due to the immediate digital nature of the token delivery and service access, any statutory "cooling-off" period for digital goods or services is waived the moment the tokens are credited to your account and become usable.

3. Exclusions (When Refunds Will NOT Be Granted)

Refunds will not be granted for the following reasons:

  • Change of Mind (you no longer wish to use the Service).
  • Dissatisfaction with Output (unhappy with creative results generated by AI/PACs).
  • Account Termination/Suspension due to violation of the AiLouvre Terms and Conditions (T&Cs), resulting in forfeiture of tokens.
  • Tokens consumed by PACs or AI models during the generation process, regardless of the final generated output.

4. Processing Payments and Contact

All token transactions are processed by our third-party payment provider, CCBill. By purchasing tokens, you agree to comply with CCBill's policies.

If you believe you qualify for an exception under Section 2 (Statutory Refund Rights), you must submit a written refund request, including your transaction ID and a detailed description of the claim, within seven (7) days of the transaction date.
